Reverend Larry Smith, Proverbs 3:5-12
Proverbs 3: 5-6 emphasizes the importance of trusting in the Lord and relying on His wisdom rather than our own understanding. The concept of trust is deeply rooted in a sense of security and well-being that comes from placing our confidence in God's Character and His Sovereignty. Trusting in the Lord is not merely about spiritual conviction, but it also promises tangible rewards, including Having Peace, Spiritual Growth, Strength for Life’s Challenges, and Hope for the Future. This divine trust allows us to navigate life's uncertainties with a sense of assurance and peace, knowing that our destiny is orchestrated by a Holy Unchanging God!
Reverend Larry Smith, Luke 13:22-30
The Truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ compels us to evaluate our spiritual journey continuously and ensures that our devotion is not merely superficial. The scriptures remind us that salvation is not simply about professing faith; it is about embodying that faith through our actions and choices. When we genuinely receive Jesus Christ as our Savior, our lives undergo a transformation, directing us to act according to God's will. Our journey is one of continuous growth and introspection, ensuring that our faith is not superficial but deeply rooted in a sincere relationship with Jesus Christ. Let us be vigilant in aligning our actions with our beliefs, striving to live out the teachings of Christ in our daily lives.
Reverend Larry Smith
Once you have accepted the ABC's of salvation, it is important to take the next step and grow in your faith. This involves daily prayer, reading the Bible, and seeking fellowship with other believers. By immersing yourself in God's Word and surrounding yourself with a community that shares your faith, you will find strength and encouragement to live a life that reflects the love and grace of Jesus Christ. Furthermore, sharing your story about how you met Jesus with others can be a powerful way to spread the message of salvation. As you communicate the transformative power of Christ in your own life, you become a vessel through which others can come to know Him. Remember, the journey of faith is not a solitary one, but a collective experience where believers uplift one another and advance the Kingdom of God together. Embrace the assurance of eternal life and the joy of a personal relationship with Jesus. The gift of salvation is a profound blessing, meant to be cherished and shared with the world. May God bless you on your spiritual journey and keep you steadfast in your faith.

People grow the most when they are connected to a good small group. We were never intended to live life alone, but we were created to be in relationships with one another.
Small Groups are made of eight to twelve people who gather to study God's Word and discuss the issues and challenges of life that we all face. It is also where we pray and care for one another and where you are missed when you are not there.
Small Groups come in all shapes and sizes - married couples, singles, men, women, children, no children, workplace, young adult or empty nesters.
Purpose of Small Groups
