From noon until three in the afternoon, darkness fell over the land as Jesus was crucified. At His death, the temple curtain was torn, the earth shook, and tombs were opened, leading many to realize his divine identity. Several devoted women, including Mary Magdalene and Mary, mother of James and Joseph, observed these events from a distance. After the Sabbath, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary visited Jesus’ tomb at dawn. They witnessed a great earthquake and an angel announcing Jesus’ resurrection, telling them not to be afraid and to inform the disciples. On their way to deliver the message, Jesus appeared to the women and instructed them to tell the disciples to meet him in Galilee. Jesus Christ is still in the business of saving souls, and we are praying and believing that many children and parents will accept Jesus Christ at Savior during our VBS!

Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan River to be baptized by John the Baptist. At first, John hesitated, feeling unworthy, but Jesus insisted so that He could fulfill all righteousness. After Jesus was baptized, He came up out of the water, and the heavens opened. The Spirit of God descended like a dove and rested upon Him. A voice from Heaven declared, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased", revealing the presence of the Trinity. The Trinity REAL because the Bible says so! God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit.

What a story! After fulfilling their religious duties in Jerusalem, Mary and Joseph returned to Nazareth with Jesus, who as a boy matured in wisdom and favor with both God and people. At twelve, he remained behind in the temple, astonishing the teachers with his understanding while his parents searched anxiously for him. Once reunited, Jesus returned home and lived obediently under their care, while Mary deeply cherished these remarkable experiences in her heart—offering a lasting glimpse into his formative years before he emerged at the age of thirty to begin his earthly ministry. What part of Jesus’ childhood is etched in mind after taking a fresh look at Jesus during the growing up years?

People grow the most when they are connected to a good small group. We were never intended to live life alone, but we were created to be in relationships with one another.
Small Groups are made of eight to twelve people who gather to study God's Word and discuss the issues and challenges of life that we all face. It is also where we pray and care for one another and where you are missed when you are not there.
Small Groups come in all shapes and sizes - married couples, singles, men, women, children, no children, workplace, young adult or empty nesters.
